Havapoo
A hypoallergenic crossbreed of the Havanese and poodle, the sweet-natured Havapoo is a bright and lively charmer who fits right into homes and families of all types. Yorkiepoo
A fun-loving designer dog and therefore a mixed dog breed a Yorkipoo is a cross between the Yorkshire Terrier and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. Bichon Frise
A good-size Bichon will stand a shade under a foot tall at the shoulder. The breed’s glory is a white hypoallergenic coat, plush and velvety to the touch, featuring rounded head hair that sets off the large, dark eyes and black leathers of the nose and lips.
Bichons are adaptable companions who get on well with other dogs and children. Their confidence and size make them ideal city dogs. Bichons train nicely and enjoy performing for their loved ones. Their happy-go-lucky personality that draws smiles and hugs wherever they go.
Maltipoo
If ever there were a living, breathing, barking incarnation of cuteness, it is the Maltipoo. A mix of two of the more popular of small dog breeds, the Maltese and the Poodle, the dogs are small, clever, playful and affectionate. They’re also forever young, staying puppy-like well into their senior years. Those qualities have made the Maltipoo one of the more popular deliberate mixes.
Yorkshire Terrier
Commonly referred to as the “Yorkie”, the Yorkshire Terrier is a small dog with plenty of spark and personality. One of the most popular dog breeds in the United States, the Yorkie has a long silky coat that is steel-blue and tan in color. Used primarily as a companion dog, the Yorkshire Terrier is self-assured and fearless, while being very affectionate toward its owner.
Cockapoo
An adorable, small dog with the personality of a big clown, the Cockapoo is a mix of a Cocker Spaniel and Poodle. Completely people-oriented, the Cockapoo is intelligent enough to train easily, hardly sheds, forgives quickly, and is so affectionate that you’ll never feel alone. They’re happy running around an agility course, showing off their tricks to company, being petted as a therapy dog, or just hanging out on your lap. Your lap is theirs, by the way.
Toy Poodle
Despite his diminutive size, the Toy Poodle stands proudly among dogdom’s true aristocrats. Beneath the curly coat is an elegant athlete and companion for all reasons and seasons. This breed is very dedicated to its family. Some dogs can be shy in front of strangers and some may bark too much. As the energetic and sprightly Toy Poodle is among the brightest of breeds, it is a pleasure to train -- eager to please, responsive, alert, sensitive, playful, and lively.
Pomeranian
The Pomeranian combines a tiny body and a commanding big-dog demeanor. The abundant double coat, with its frill extending over the chest and shoulders, comes in almost two dozen colors, and various patterns and markings, but is most commonly seen in orange or red.
Alert and intelligent, Pomeranians are easily trained and make fine watchdogs and perky pets for families with children. Poms are active but can be exercised with indoor play and short walks, so they are content in both the city and suburbs. They will master tricks and games with ease, though their favorite activity is providing laughs and companionship to their special human.
Cavachon
The Cavachon is a hybrid dog mixed between a Bichon Frise and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Cavachons are small dogs with soft, silky coats which have slight waves. They are usually white, apricot and white or white with black or black and tan markings and are often tricolored. They are friendly and loving dogs and make great family pets. They get on well with children and with other pets and while they do bark at strangers, they could never be regarded as watchdogs because of their size. They don’t shed a lot and are relatively easy to train responding best to positive reinforcement. They are good inside dogs and adapt well to apartment living.
Havanese
The Havanese is a short-legged, small, and sturdy dog with a gentle expression. The happy temperament of this dog is enhanced by it exceptional gait, which is springy and lively. Fond of clowning and playing, the Havanese showers affection on children, strangers, its human family, pets, other dogs, and everyone else.
Mini Goldendoodle
The Miniature Goldendoodle is a small to medium dog that is affectionate and attentive. They are the result of a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Miniature or Toy Poodle. They are a friendly, mild nature dog that looks like a small fluffy teddy bear. Because of this, they have become a popular family dog who loves children, and is a devoted companion. They have the energy and prance of the Miniature Poodle, while retaining the gentleness and willingness to please of the Golden Retriever. The Mini Goldendoodle loves human contact, they will follow you from room to room just to be with you, and loves to cuddle. They can be quite goofy, entertaining you with their tricks and high energy antics.
